Also, I can confirm that on the Xero integration you have to create new clients in Glide. This is because Xero does not have a concept of 'client type' and this is a mandatory field for a client to exist in Glide.

Hi Richard, apologies I had not seen your latest comment here. To answer queries: 1) We insist on there being a company number for incorporated types prior to integrating that client, on integrating we go via CoHse to get the dates. 2) Cloud connect query. I do not know what cloud connect is but assuming it is the brand name for TaxCalc hosting then it might be that under the T&Cs they control the server. In this case you would need to ask permission for Glide to have remote (read only) access.

If the client company is created in TaxCalc, is the co reg no automatically filled into Glide so that CoHse deadlines etc are pulled through? For the Xero link, you need to create the client in Glide ...
Any movement on the Cloud Connect query?
Can you send me the instructions please? Thanks

Hi Richard. We have no experience working with cloud connect. Assuming it is hosted by TaxCalc then I expect their permission would be required. Thereafter if the underlying database is the same then our connector should work. As with all our connectors they are one direction, you create and update clients in TaxCalc. This limitation is imposed by virtue of the providers not making available APIs. Even with the limitation all 3 of our connectors seem to work very well for those that use them.

How about for the cloud connect version of TaxCalc?
Is this a 2-way integration, or which way does it go?

Hi. We have a connector for the server version of Tax Calc which provides a daily overnight sync of the client data and also obtains new clients. I shall send through guidance to you now via e-mail.
